The Archive sits in Cambridgeshire, within reach of a large part of the south-east without being in the middle of it. That matters more than it sounds: storage a few streets away is expensive and rarely secure, and storage four hours away is cheap and effectively a goodbye.

Getting here

A straightforward run up the M11 or A1 from London, and easy from Hertfordshire, Essex, Bedfordshire and Suffolk. Most journeys from London are under an hour.
